I guess all I can say is…what an experience! From start to finish, I couldn’t fault it at all.

I guess all I can say is…what an experience! From start to finish, I couldn’t fault it at all.

We entered the restaurant around 8:50pm after getting DRENCHED from a torrential downpour. The lady at the front was extremely welcoming and smiley. We were seated within 2 minutes of entering (we had a booking for 9pm) in a lovely centrally positioned booth. The Tower Bridge view was incredible, especially at night, so I would definitely recommend going either during sunset or afterwards to make the most of the amazing view (especially great for taking pictures!)

The interior decoration is modern, classy and very ‘London’. The lights were slightly dimmed, and we had a couple of candles on our table which was great, if you are coming for a romantic evening. Our waiter welcomed us extremely politely and made us feel at ease. He took our drinks orders and they came out within around five minutes which was great.

We ordered four Pornstar Martinis to begin with. We then ordered our food.

Order is below:

  • 4 x 8oz Fillet Steaks (Medium Rare x4)
  • Creamy spinach x1
  • Fries x1
  • Mashed Potato x1

The food arrived in around 20 minutes which is very fast considering how AMAZING the food was! The steak was so tender and didn’t even require a steak knife. The spinach was to die for and same goes for the mashed potato and lastly, the fries were definitely a necessity.

We then ordered another round of drinks, this time the two boys had beers and us girls had another Pornstar Martini. Again, the drinks came out very swiftly while we looked through our dessert menu. As I was so full up, I decided not to get a dessert however, Martin and our two friends Joe and Scarlett both got desserts (by this point I was pretty drunk so don’t ask me what they ordered…it looked VERY nice though!) We had to make sure that Martin had a dessert as we wanted them to sing happy birthday to him.

The staff were amazing, and all joined in on the birthday song. After the candles were blown out and the desserts were gobbled up in a flash, our waiter came to our table to clear the plates and also offer us some suggestions as to where to go next. He tried finding out if the Sky Garden was fully booked and sadly it was, however, we were extremely grateful for his help and for going above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The waiter also suggested ordering their Espresso Martinis so we decided to get one of those. I’ve never tried these before but they tasted amazing (from what I can remember).

We will definitely be attending again, and I couldn’t recommend the Tower Bridge Gaucho enough! It was an amazing experience with great staff, delicious food, a lovely atmosphere and one heck of a view!
