Overall Experience Rating:
My boyfriend and I booked Puttshack for a quick, fun date night. We had the 9:10pm slot booked and we intended on eating beforehand. To begin with, the queue outside the venue was huge and it was freezing outside so it wasn’t the most ideal situation. We then got into the queue and one of the staff members came up to take out details, we got told that we were going to have to wait an hour which I definitely wasn’t going to do so we ended up going to eat at Prezzo for dinner instead.
After rushing to get our dinner finished, we ended up getting to Puttshack ten minutes late and we were then told we weren’t allowed in however, after speaking to them, they allowed us to come in. The woman was quite rude but at least they let us in right?
Despite all of the problems at the beginning, once we got inside it was amazing! They have a massive bar in the middle and a large dining area so I’m definitely going to go back and try the food and drinks there. In terms of the crazy golf course, it was so cool! The course was fully interactive so you don’t have to take score (which is the most annoying part) and the whole venue is so aesthetically pleasing! There are lots of places to take photos so if you want to get some good insta pics then you should certainly give this place a try!
The only part I didn’t enjoy was having to rush around the course as it now shuts at 10pm (due to the current government guidelines). Next time I go, I will make sure to book slightly earlier and be prepared that I will have to wait a while outside before I can enter the venue.
Overall, it was great once we got inside and we had so much fun! I would definitely recommend this to anyone whether its for a date night or an evening with friends.
