Four of us visited Winterland at Bluewater in the evening as a replacement for our usual Hyde Park Winter Wonderland trip and I have to say, it was much better than expected!
I noticed the colourful, lit up arches when I went into Bluewater one day and mentioned it to my friends and we all thought it would be a good idea to try out.
First thoughts were, it’s very covid safe! MOST people wearing mask (apart from the odd few) and it’s all spaced out and outside. We brought out tickets online so we just showed the person at the kiosk and he let us straight through. We paid £20 each which gave us entry to the attraction and 25 ride tokens.
At first I thought rides would be 5 tokens each but most of them were only 3 so we pretty much went on everything! The rides were so good. The only downside for me was the fact that they were all spinny rides and I DO NOT do well on those. So, naturally, I did feel VERY sick towards the end of the evening.
After a couple of rides, we got a drink (two gins and two beers) and then went on a couple more rides. We then got some amazing Nutella hot doughnuts and, after fancying hot doughnuts for a number of weeks, they really hit the spot!
We got some great pictures together and the arches were a great touch. That is definitely great if you want to get some good pictures with your friends! It’s all so pretty!
Overall, it was a great experience! The food was lovely, the rides were lots of fun and there were lots of places to take some good pictures!
