Fuwa Fuwa – Notting Hill, London.

I think these pancakes are a one time thing for me as they are pretty expensive. They did taste lovely so it's definitely worth trying at least once!

Myself and my boyfriend visited London for the day and decided to get the famous fluffy pancakes from Fuwa Fuwa. We went to the one in Notting Hill, close to Kensington Gardens.

We chose to get the nutella and strawberry pancakes and Martin’s friend Oli decided to get the plain ones with strawberries. (See pics below) The names of the pancakes were as follows: Summer fruit and Strawberry Nutella.

To be completely honest, they were very tasty but I wasn’t completely blown away! It was good to finally try them but I didn’t really understand what all of the fuss was about. They weren’t like normal pancakes, they were very light which made it a lot easier to eat. I definitely could have eaten the whole thing to myself. I’m glad we got nutella on ours because I don’t think there would have been much taste without that topping.

We paid £7.90 for two pancakes which I thought was very expensive for what it was…but I guess that’s London for you!

The pancakes were presented very well and the shop itself was very nice however it still had a lot of renovation work going on inside. Due to covid we couldn’t get the full experience of sitting inside but it was still good to try them.

I think these pancakes are a one time thing for me as they are pretty expensive. They did taste lovely so it’s definitely worth trying at least once!
