Myself and my boyfriend stayed in Harbour Hotel and spa for a relaxing night away and we were definitely not disappointed! Charmaine Harbour was nice enough to book our whole stay including our dinner and drinks reservations and our spa day.
The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and all staff are very welcoming. The first receptionist we spoke to was very polite and nothing was too much trouble for her. Our check in process was very quick and easy and we were able to go straight to our room in a matter of minutes!
The hotel room was stunning, with a lovely and modern bathroom including a shower and bath. The hotel provide you with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel – all of which smell so nice! We also had an iron, a hair dryer and a kettle, so you don’t need to remember to bring much with you. Also, the mirror in the hotel bathroom was SO GOOD! It steamed up like usual, but there was a rectangular section in the middle that stayed clear…perfect for doing makeup/getting ready!
We then went straight to the spa where Charmaine greeted us, checked us in and gave us a tour. Initial thoughts were…WOW! The spa had a real ‘Ibiza’ vibe to it, with outside lounge chairs and a heated outdoor pool on a beautiful balcony. The inside had a lovely jacuzzi, relaxation chairs, a small pool and a sauna and steam room which were very clean and modern.
I was then called in for my hour long, full body ‘Work it out’ deep tissue massage by a lovely masseuse named Laura, who talked me through the treatment, the products she was going to use and also spoke to me about any aches and pains I have. The massage was so relaxing and I loved the fact that the room was completely dark as it helped me de-stress and clear my mind.
After my massage, I then met Martin again and we went for a quick dip in the outdoor / indoor pools and relaxed in the sauna and steam rooms. Charmaine then gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco and we then got a sun lounger and spent a few hours sunbathing. We ended up leaving the spa around 2:30pm, went back to the room for a nap and got ready for the evening ahead.
Overall, Harbour Hotel and spa is amazing, their staff are so attentive and polite and the hotel rooms are beautiful, clean and modern. I was also very impressed with their focus on cleanliness during the pandemic. I would definitely recommend this hotel, you need to go and try it for yourself!
