The King’s Arms – Meopham – Kent

Overall, my experience here was very pleasant. The food was delicious, the choice of drinks were great and the staff were so lovely. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I urge people to go and try it for themselves - you will not be disappointed!

I went to The King’s Arms in Meopham on a Friday night as a little after work treat. This restaurant was recommended to us by my friend Natasha. I had heard so many good things about the food and service so I wanted to try it for myself to see if it was worth the hype!

Considering how small the roads in Meopham are, there were plenty of parking spaces so we didn’t have to walk far to get to the restaurant (which is something I hate doing!). Upon entering, the staff were very pleasant, friendly and inviting. We were taking straight to our table and seated very quickly and drinks were offered as soon as we sat down, even though half of our table hadn’t arrived yet.

We were sat next to their pizza oven/kitchen which was very entertaining to watch – because of this, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make a TikTok. Check out their pizza oven below:

I ordered a full-fat coke and an orange gin which were served by a lovely trainee waitress on her first day (who did great by the way). Once all of our party had arrived, the waitress and her manager came over to take our order. As I’m sad, I always check the menu before I go to a restaurant to decide what I want to eat and to get an idea of what they sell. I decided to go for the Hoisin Duck breast in the end and I was certainly NOT disappointed! The duck fell off the bone and was infused with a beautiful flavour – it also came with coconut rice which is my absolute favourite!

Overall, my experience here was very pleasant. The food was delicious, the choice of drinks were great and the staff were so lovely. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I urge people to go and try it for themselves – you will not be disappointed!
