Overall, I had an amazing time, it was such a great experience and I would encourage everyone to get booking their place on the first ever Thames speedboats!

Myself and my brother booked to go on The Thames Rockets ‘Ultimate London Adventure’ for a fun day out after a day of working and shopping – All I can say is, we were certainly not disappointed!

To begin with, our allocated time to board was 5pm but we had to get there at 4:45pm to get our lifejackets on and have a quick safety talk. The staff were extremely polite, attentive and super happy – you can really tell that they enjoy every second of their job. Two staff members joined us on the speedboat, one of which was Nick (Naughty Nick) the Skipper and, Geoff (Geoff with a G) the tour guide. They were both hilarious and they really made the tour special. I was very impressed with how much knowledge Geoff had about London and, he could answer EVERY SINGLE question thrown at him, no matter how in depth it was.

After a short ride down the Thames towards Tower Bridge, Nick cranked up the speed and flew us down the river at 35mph! I absolutely loved the twists and turns and it was so lovely to see so many smiles and laughs on the boat – I could really tell that all passengers were having a great time.

Once the thrill part came to an end, we then made a quick U-turn just after Canary Wharf and made our way back. We passed so many amazing sights on the way such as; The London Eye, Tate Modern, HMS Belfast, The Globe Theatre and so many more! I loved the fact that Geoff had so many interesting facts about each landmark and the smile didn’t leave his face once. The total price for the experience is £44.95 per adult which I thought was very reasonable!

Overall, I had an amazing time, it was such a great experience and I would encourage everyone to get booking their place on the first ever Thames speedboats!
