Flat Iron – London Bridge

Overall, I thought Flat Iron was a lovely restaurant with great vibes, lovely staff and really tasty food. I have since been back again and had exceptional service.

I visited Flat Iron for my boyfriend’s Birthday as we just can’t get enough of steak restaurants. We heard about Flat Iron through some friends and decided to give it a try because we heard that it was really tasty and had great value for money.

Upon entering, the staff were very lovely and seated myself, my boyfriend and his family very quickly (we had a booking already). They then came straight to our table and got us some drinks and gave us a few little pots of popcorn. I thought this was a really nice touch because I get so hungry when I’m waiting for food (defeating the object of eating…I know)

Once the drinks were ordered, it was onto food. The menu is very limited, but this is for a reason. Their signature steak is…you guessed it, the Flat Iron steak! I was amazed when I saw a price of £12 – I have no idea how it is so cheap but who cares! You can also pay a little more and get a slightly better cut of steak for around £20. View the menu below:

We all decided to go for the Flat Iron steak and then we chose each side and shared it all between us. My personal favourite was the creamy spinach – it is to die for!

The food came out very quickly. I think it took around 10-15 minutes which I think is great for cooking 6 steaks and a whole load of sides.

Sadly Flat Iron do not offer a desserts menu however, they give you a free ice cream cone before you leave which I thought was a really nice touch (great if you fancy a dessert but don’t want to pay for it!)

Overall, I thought Flat Iron was a lovely restaurant with great vibes, lovely staff and really tasty food. I have since been back again and had exceptional service. I would say if you go again, make sure to get something different as you might get bored of the same steak every time.
